An Tho Company: A Vietnamese Mark in Investment Cooperation in Vladimir Province, Russia

An Tho Investment JSC has made a remarkable impression as one of the first Vietnamese enterprises to implement a large-scale investment project in Vladimir Province, Russian Federation.

This project between An Tho JSC and the Vladimir provincial government helps promote economic and trade cooperation between the two countries. It opens up sustainable and modern development opportunities for the local industry.

Launching the Production of Electrical Equipment and Consumer Goods

On April 18, 2025, at the headquarters of the Vladimir provincial government, local leaders held a working session with the Vietnamese delegation, with An Tho Company as the key partner. The two sides signed a memorandum of understanding on developing industrial infrastructure in the Sobinsky District, specifically in Vorsha village. The project aims to build a modern industrial park to produce electrical equipment, household appliances, and consumer goods for the Russian and regional markets.

According to Mr. Tai Thanh Nhan, Director of An Tho Company, this signing marks an essential step in the company’s international expansion strategy. He emphasised: “An Tho is committed to closely cooperating with Vladimir Province to create an investment environment that harmonises economic interests with environmental responsibility, aiming for sustainable and shared prosperity.”

Strategic Vision and Commitment to Sustainable Development

The Vladimir provincial government highly values the role of Vietnamese investors, especially An Tho Company, in promoting local industrial development. Mr. Alexander Remiga, First Deputy Governor of Vladimir Province in charge of industrial policy and economic growth, affirmed: “We consider Vietnam a strategic partner and are ready for extensive cooperation to strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries.”

An Tho’s project will create hundreds of new jobs for residents, contribute to technology transfer, improve production standards, and expand the market for Vietnamese products in Russia. The project emphasises green development, energy efficiency, and environmental protection, aligning with both countries' sustainable development trends.

Promoting Vietnam–Russia Bilateral Cooperation

An Tho’s investment in Vladimir Province proves the strong development of relations between Vietnam and Russia regarding economics, trade, and investment. The local authorities have pledged maximum support in legal procedures, site clearance, and all necessary conditions for the project’s prompt implementation. According to the plan, design work will begin in 2025, with construction expected to start in 2026.

This move also concretises high-level agreements between the two countries on strengthening investment cooperation, creating favourable conditions for businesses to expand their production and business activities in each other’s markets.
