On the afternoon of June 10, at the La Moneda Presidential Palace in the capital Santiago, Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong presented the Letter of Credentials from President Luong Cuong to President of the Republic of Chile Gabriel Boric Font, officially operating as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Chile.
Congratulating Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong on his appointment as Ambassador of Vietnam to Chile, President Gabriel Boric Font sent his regards to President Luong Cuong and other senior leaders of Vietnam.

The President expressed his delight at Vietnam's development achievements as well as the good friendship between Vietnam and Chile.
Recalling the memory of welcoming President Luong Cuong to Chile in November 2024, President Gabriel Boric Font expressed his wish to officially visit Vietnam in 2025 if conditions permit.
Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong respectfully conveyed the greetings and best wishes of President Luong Cuong and senior leaders of the Party and State of Vietnam to President Gabriel Boric Font, affirming that Vietnam consistently attaches importance to its relations with Chile and wishes to work with Chile to further deepen the bilateral relationship for peace, cooperation, development in the region, in the world and for the benefit of the people of each country.

Expressing his honour to assume the responsibility of Vietnamese Ambassador to Chile, Ambassador Nguyen Viet Cuong affirmed that he will make every effort to further promote the Comprehensive Partnership between the two countries.
