The ceremony was held solemnly with the attendance of Ambassadors from nine countries. Alongside Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Le, Ambassadors from Moldova, the Republic of Korea, South Africa, Slovakia, Germany, Azerbaijan, Slovenia, and Namibia also presented their credentials to the President of Kazakhstan.

The presentation of credentials marks the official commencement of Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Le's duties as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to Kazakhstan.

Previously, on June 22, Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Le presented a copy of his credentials to Kazakhstan's Deputy Foreign Minister Alibek Kuantyrov and discussed measures to enhance bilateral relations.

The event takes place as Vietnam-Kazakhstan relations are entering a new phase of development following the establishment of a Strategic Partnership in May 2025.

This relationship framework holds historical significance, laying the foundation for both sides to strengthen connections in politics, economics, policy, transportation, and people-to-people exchanges.

In his new role, Ambassador Nguyen Thanh Le affirmed his commitment to working closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, various ministries, sectors, and localities in Kazakhstan to effectively implement high-level agreements; strengthen political trust; promote cooperation in trade, investment, transportation-logistics, tourism, culture, education, and people-to-people exchanges; thereby contributing to deepening the Vietnam-Kazakhstan Strategic Partnership substantively and effectively, for the benefit of the people of both nations.
