At the event, sharing his goals during his tenure in Vietnam, Ambassador Bednarski reaffirmed his commitment to building on the accomplishments of his predecessors and enhancing mutual understanding about Argentina through broadening and diversifying the bilateral agenda.
The Ambassador also expressed his hope that in the future, the two countries would establish partnerships in agriculture and forestry, applying advanced technologies to boost productivity while protecting the environment and natural resources, thereby pursuing sustainable development.

Additionally, Ambassador Bednarski emphasized that Vietnam and Argentina have complementary economies that bring mutual benefits. As of October 2024, Argentina's total exports to Vietnam had reached $2.67 billion, a 47% increase compared to the same period last year. Furthermore, the trade relations between the two nations are showing positive growth.
Beyond trade, Mr. Bednarski expressed a desire to strengthen cooperation in biotechnology and renewable energy, aiming toward a green economy.
Specifically, the Argentine Embassy is collaborating with the Agricultural Genetics Institute (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam) to study methods of increasing rice resilience and experimenting with quinoa cultivation programs with the Vietnam National University of Agriculture.
Moreover, the Embassy has partnered with Hanoi University of Science and Technology on a project to improve the quality of dairy products, contributing to innovation in the dairy processing industry.
“The more we understand each other, the better the opportunity to deepen bilateral relations,” Ambassador Bednarski stated.
In addition to these initiatives, Mr. Bednarski committed to further strengthening cooperation in the fields of culture and social exchanges, including the promotion of Tango arts to a broader Vietnamese audience.

Notably, in 2025, the Argentine Embassy plans to host the Malbec Wine Day - a symbol of Argentina’s national identity - on April 16. Furthermore, sports cooperation will also be one of the top priorities, with plans for exchanges and expert collaborations between the two countries.
Speaking to The World and Vietnam Report, Mr. Bednarski emphasized that education represents an important area for connecting the people of both nations and should be included in the bilateral cooperation framework.
The diplomat stated: “In the future, we hope to see more Argentine universities establishing partnerships with Vietnamese institutions, not just at an academic level, but also by organizing numerous student exchange programs.”
Ambassador Bednarski also noted that Vietnam is increasingly becoming an attractive tourist destination for Argentine citizens. Therefore, both Governments need to improve visa policies and aviation cooperation, facilitating exchanges between the people of both countries.
Mr. Bednarski's remarks highlighted his strong commitment to deepening the Vietnam-Argentina partnership, paving the way for comprehensive cooperation and sustainable development in the future.
