Ambassador Hoang Huu Anh presents a copy of his Letter of Credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulmajeed Al-Smari. |
At the meeting, Ambassador Hoang Huu Anh expressed his honour to assume the responsibility of representing Vietnam in Saudi Arabia. He respectfully conveyed the congratulations of the leaders of the Communist Party, the State, and the Government of Vietnam to King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Saudi Arabia’s achievements in socio-economic development and foreign affairs, and extended an invitation for the King and Crown Prince to visit Vietnam in the near future.
Affirming that Vietnam always attaches great importance to its relationship with Saudi Arabia, Ambassador Hoang Huu Anh shared with Deputy Minister Abdulmajeed Al-Smari the key priorities for his 2025–2028 term. He also pledged to make every effort and to closely coordinate with Saudi ministries, agencies, and authorities at all levels to elevate the traditional friendship between the two countries to new heights.
Expressing his pleasure at the positive developments in bilateral relations in recent years, Deputy Minister Abdulmajeed Al-Smari affirmed that the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs is ready to support and work closely with the Ambassador to fulfill shared goals for the benefit of both countries, as well as for peace, cooperation, and development.
Ambassador Hoang Huu Anh expressed his sincere thanks to Deputy Foreign Minister Abdulmajeed Al-Smari in particular, and to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in general, for the warm welcome extended upon his arrival in Saudi Arabia and for promptly arranging the presentation of the copy of his Letter of Credentials just two days after he assumed his post.
