The program was broadcast live on VTV1 from 8 a.m. Vietnam time (equivalent to 10 a.m. Japan time), attracting a large number of overseas Vietnamese living, studying, and working in the Kansai area, along with representatives of Vietnamese associations.
Many citizens visiting the Consulate General for administrative procedures also paused to watch the event, demonstrating the community's deep interest for the country's significant political issues.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha, Consul General of Vietnam in Osaka, emphasized that the 14th National Party Congress is a significant milestone, setting strategic directions for the country's development in the new phase.
The Consul General affirmed that the Party and State always consider the overseas Vietnamese community an inseparable part of the nation and an important resource contributing to the great national unity and the cause of building and developing the country.
Mr. Ngo Trinh Ha stated that the Consulate General always focuses on external information and communication work, linking consular activities with strengthening the trust and connection of overseas Vietnamese with their homeland. Organizing the community to watch the live Opening Ceremony of the 14th Congress is a specific activity aimed at bringing official information about the Party's policies and guidelines closer to the Vietnamese community in Japan.

Sharing at the program, Ms. Le Thuong, Chairwoman of the Vietnamese Association in the Kansai region, noted that this activity not only has political and spiritual significance but also reflects the responsibility and companionship of overseas Vietnamese with the Party, State, and people in the country.
According to her, the program contributes to strengthening community bonds, consolidating national unity, and promoting the role of overseas Vietnamese in people-to-people diplomacy, building the image of a dynamic, united Vietnamese community in Japan oriented towards the homeland.
Many attendees expressed their emotions and pride in watching the Opening Ceremony live at the Consulate General's headquarters. This was also an opportunity for overseas Vietnamese to update important information, enhance political awareness, and continue their efforts in labor, study, integration, and positive contributions to the Vietnam-Japan friendship and cooperation.
It can be said that this activity has affirmed the role of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad and overseas Vietnamese associations in enhancing external information and communication, strengthening political trust, and connecting the overseas Vietnamese community with their homeland in the new development phase.
The program took place in the context of the Vietnamese community in Japan continuously growing in both quantity and quality, making positive contributions to the local socio-economic life as well as to the friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Japan; continuing to affirm the role of Vietnamese representative agencies abroad and overseas Vietnamese associations in enhancing external work, citizen protection, and community connection.
