Vinh Phuc aims at comprehensive development based on model cultural village
WVR - Model cultural villages in Vinh Phuc are contributing to entire province’s image, turning this land into a place worth living, developing in a synchronous, comprehensive and sustainable manner.

Recently, Vinh Phuc province has fiercely implemented resolutions of Provincial People's Council on building "Model Cultural Village" for the 2023-2030 period.
Building "Model Cultural Village" is a major policy of Vinh Phuc province to realize Resolution of the 13th Party Congress and Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress on building and developing culture in new age.
This is also a step to promote locality’s potential and strength, attract resources to serve socio-economic development, improve people’s material and spiritual life, as well as encourage income and welfare of Vinh Phuc people.
The province has set a goal that by the end of 2030, at least 60 villages will be built to meet "Model Cultural Village"’s criteria issued by authorities. In particular, completing 30 villages by the end of 2025 and 60 villages by 2027 with basic characteristics: building landscape with harmonious combination of tradition and modernity; synchronous socio-economic infrastructure; economic structure and reasonable production form; bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe and civilized landscape which is rich in traditional cultural identity; people’s cultural and spiritual life is healthy and rich with national identity; political system is transparent, solid and self-governing.

With the guideline of considering people as the core subject and beneficiary, model cultural villages focus on comprehensiveness and sustainability in economic, cultural, social, environmental and national security aspects; maintain ecological balance and national cultural identity; so that people can have a stable, prosperous and happy life.
Thanks to that, the implementation of "Model Cultural Village" received high determination from entire political system and people’s consensus. After nearly 10 months, all villages and residential areas have invested in cultural and sport institutions, achieving "Model Cultural Village"’s criteria at least above 50%. Cultural and artistic activities, physical training and sports, education and talent promotion take place enthusiastically and regularly.
People joined hands to contribute more than 35 billion VND, donated tens of thousands of square meters of land to build roads, cultural and sport institutions, contributed various working hours to build infrastructure.
People have registered to implement 93 service and trade business models; 14 homestay, farmstay models and a community tourism destination; 22 production garden models; 100% of districts and cities have disbursed loans to more than 540 households through the social policy bank with an amount of nearly 100 billion VND.
It can be seen that in the model cultural village, people play two key roles, which are both working force and beneficiary. The initial results have linked good traditional values with the promotion of tourism, services, traditional craft villages, agricultural products, thereby improving people's income and economic foundation. This model cultural village needs to be replicated.
