Through the lens of history: Vietnam launches first photo book on revolutionary journalism
This is the first photo book on the history of Vietnam revolutionary press, a tribute to generations of Vietnamese revolutionary journalists.
“100 Years of Vietnam’s Revolutionary Press (1925–2025)” is the first photo book dedicated to the history of Vietnam’s revolutionary press, launched on June 10, 2025, in Hanoi.
Published in bilingual format, the book features concise articles alongside more than 1,000 rare photos and documents. It serves as a tribute to generations of revolutionary journalists in Vietnam, honouring their significant contributions to the cause of national construction and defence.
The photo book, including: concise articles and more than 1,000 photos, rare documents that the unit has carefully exploited and selected from many sources across the country, helps readers systematically review the 100-year development of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press. The book records the arduous journey, resilience, dedication, creativity and dedication of the team of journalists through the ages; honoring the great contributions of the team of Vietnamese revolutionary journalists to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
In addition, the book is also compiled and published in bilingual form, helping domestic readers better understand the history of the country's press and vividly introducing to international friends the proud development journey of Vietnam's revolutionary press.
