This event highlighted Vietnam’s readiness to host large-scale, international-standard events, opening new avenues for global cooperation and reinforcing the country’s position on the global MICE map.
The visit to Vietnam by Sun Pharma’s Indian billionaire, who brought 4,500 employees along, generated significant media attention due to the scale and professionalism in organizing the tour. Vietnam’s capability in providing world-class hotel services, event equipment, and event management was instrumental in the success of this visit.
The 4,500 employees of Sun Pharmaceuticals embarked on a memorable journey through three of Vietnam’s renowned destinations: Hanoi, Ninh Binh, and Quang Ninh. From August 29 to September 4, the group participates in a series of 16 Gala Awards and DJ Nights events at three prestigious hotels in Hanoi: JW Marriott, Intercontinental Landmark 72, and Melia Hanoi.
The Gala Awards were designed to honor the outstanding achievements of individuals and teams within the company, while also inspiring and motivating the entire workforce. These awards ceremonies were more than just recognition events; they provided an opportunity for the Sun Pharma team to reflect on past successes and chart a course for the future.

DJ Nights offered a lively entertainment and relaxation space following the formal activities, striking a perfect balance between work and leisure. These meticulously planned DJ events, complete with top-notch sound and lighting effects, created joyful, bonding moments for the participants and demonstrated the professionalism of the Vietnamese event organizers.
The panoramic view of the Gala Awards, held over three days at the InterContinental Landmark 72 hotel, showcases a luxurious, modern design that beautifully blends Vietnamese and Indian cultural elements.
Sun Pharmaceuticals representatives expressed their satisfaction with the professional organization of the events in Vietnam, noting the meticulous attention to detail, from decoration to sound and lighting.

They emphasized that the event overcame significant challenges to create an inspiring space that combined sophisticated design with modern technology. "Vietnam is fully capable of hosting international MICE events professionally," a Sun Pharma representative affirmed.
Ms. Hoang Lan, CEO of Hoa Binh Group (the MICE leader), the company responsible for providing sound and lighting equipment for the series of events, shared: “Vietnam is increasingly becoming an attractive destination for MICE events, thanks to infrastructure development, cultural diversity, and natural beauty. The success of this series of events not only confirms our capabilities but also marks a new milestone for MICE activities in Vietnam".
