| The Vietnamese Club in Milan participated in the festival with a traditional conical hat dance in the colors of the Vietnamese national flag. |
Sponsored by the Borgomanero municipal government, the festival serves as a cultural exchange platform to celebrate diversity, promote unity, and enhance understanding between local residents and immigrant communities.
The program includes various activities such as parades through ancient streets, artistic performances, and showcases of traditional cultures from different countries.
This year, the Vietnamese Club in Milan presented lotus dances, the conical hat dance “Xin chao Viet Nam,” and an Ao Dai performance to the song “Viet Nam kieu hanh.”
The performances contributed to showcasing the beauty of Vietnamese culture, while also expressing the love for their homeland and national pride of the Vietnamese community in Italy.
In addition to performances, the Vietnamese booth displayed conical hats, images of the country, tourism promotional materials, and introduced traditional cuisine, with the fried spring rolls (cha gio) continuing to attract significant interest from visitors.
Held annually since 2016, the Festival of Nations has become a cultural exchange forum among communities in Italy.
Through the event, the Vietnamese community continues to promote their national identity, strengthen ties with the local community, and spread the image of a traditional, friendly, and dynamic Vietnam to international friends.
