A Vietnam Airlines flight carrying nearly 340 citizens from the Republic of Korea landed at the Da Nang International Airport on Wednesday, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. |
The passengers, including children, seniors, students and workers with expired visas, were medically checked and quarantined immediately upon arrival.
The flight is part of the Government’s plan to bring home Vietnamese citizens stranded abroad due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Since April 24, Vietnam has arranged 13 citizen repatriation flights with total 3,586 passengers from foreign countries and territories, official data showed.
