The team visited Opava, Krnov, and Jesenik, which are all home to overseas Vietnamese. They delivered aid to local authorities and extended support to Vietnamese families and businesses devastated by prolonged flooding, which destroyed their property and goods.

Local Czech officials expressed their deep gratitude and praised the timely and practical contributions of the Vietnamese community, viewing this as a noble gesture that highlights the close ties between the people of the two countries.

The embassy affirmed its willingness to continue to support the Vietnamese expatriates in charitable activities, fostering the spirit of solidarity and contributing to a stronger, more united community. These efforts also bolster economic and social development in the host country and enhance the multifaceted friendship and cooperation between the nations.
