Xaysomphone Phomvihane said during his visit, made at the invitation of NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, the two sides reviewed the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the Vietnamese and Lao Parties, States and people, and agreed to further enhance the relationship in the time ahead.

Speaking highly of cooperation between the Lao Front for National Construction (LFNC) and the VFF, the Lao leader expressed his hope that the two sides will continue effectively implementing their reached cooperation agreements.

The two agencies should tighten coordination in the coming year, and step up the education and communication work among young people, thus contributing to promoting the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation.

For his part, Chien said the VFF at all levels will put forth a plan to expand exchanges between residents along the shared border line.

Chien noted his belief that Xaysomphone Phomvihane will continue giving good sentiments to front officials, helping the two sides better materialise guidelines reached by high-ranking leaders of the two Parties and States.
