Lin went on to state that his side greatly appreciated the country’s valuable sentiments and assistance towards Myanmar which have largely contributed to developing friendship and co-operation ties between the two countries in recent years.
Most notably, the latest donation marks the fourth batch of medical supplies that the nation has presented to Myanmar in an effort to help them overcome some of the current challenges they face.
Previously, the country had handed over a total of US$93,000 and 160,000 face masks, packs of hand sanitizer, and medical equipment, to Myanmar.
Furthermore, Vietnamese enterprises operating in Myanmar have donated approximately US$26,000 and 10,000 face masks to local people in joint efforts to combat the pandemic.
