State Protocol Department receives the copy of credentials of Greek Ambassador to Vietnam

WVR - On February 11, the Acting Director General of State Protocol Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received a copy of the credentials of Greek Ambassador to Vietnam Antonios Papakostas.

At the reception ceremony, Acting Director General Phan Kieu Nga congratulated Mr. Antonios Papakostas on his appointment as Greek Ambassador to Vietnam, and at the same time, hoped that the Ambassador would continue to promote and deepen the traditional friendship and good cooperation between Vietnam and Greece during his term.

Ms. Phan Kieu Nga affirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the State Protocol Department are always ready to support, cooperate, coordinate and create favorable conditions for Ambassador Antonios Papakostas to successfully complete his term in Vietnam.

From his part, Ambassador Antonios Papakostas pledged to make efforts to contribute strengthening the friendly cooperative relations between Vietnam and Greece, and emphasized always attaching importance to the relationship with Vietnam.

The Ambassador emphasized that during his term, he and the Embassy staff will coordinate closely with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam to further promote the traditional friendship between Greece and Vietnam.

Before being appointed as Greek Ambassador to Vietnam, Mr. Antonios Papakostas served as Deputy Permanent Representative of Greece to the United Nations. He had been posted in Ethiopia, Australia, the United States and Türkiye.
