Transport businesses and passengers, however, are still required to continue wearing face mask properly at airports, train stations, wharves, bus stations, and on vehicles during the journey.
Passengers must perform health declaration before their journeys and are encouraged to install and turn on the Bluezone app - a domestically developed contact-tracing mobile app to alert people who have interacted with COVID-19 patients.

Passengers are also encouraged to wash hands regularly with soap or sanitizers, have their body temperature checked, restrict communication and eating on public transport means.
In addition, passengers shall have to inform staff of public transport means or contact the hot line of the Ministry of Health (19009095) or hot lines of localities for advices and assistance if they have such symptoms like cough, fever, or shortness of breath.
The removal of social distancing was made as the central city has recorded no new community transmitted case of COVID-19 while the country has gone 10 days without domestic infections.
Earlier, since September 7, the ministry allowed the resumption of public transport services to and from Da Nang after such services had been suspended for more than a month.
