The event is held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in conjunction with the Russian Ministry of Culture, the Russian Embassy in Vietnam and the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Ha Noi.

It will feature many activities, such as an exhibition themed "Nature of Northern Russia," a classical concert with the participation of famous Russian artists and a performance staged by the Russian National Orchestra.
The opening ceremony is scheduled to take place on October 5 at the Ha Noi Opera House.
Of note, the Russian Beryozka Choreographic Ensemble will perform at the Ha Noi Opera House on October 5, and the Vietnam National Academy of Music and the Municipal Theatre of Ho Chi Minh City on October 6.
Founded in 1948 by the world-renowned ballet dancer of the 20th century Nadezhda Nadeshdina, the ensemble has travelled to more than 80 countries.
It was awarded the Joliot-Curie Gold Medal by the World Peace Council in 1959.
