RoK’s SBS Golf Channel selects Da Nang and Phu Quoc for programme 'Golf & Travel in Vietnam'

The Republic of Korea (RoK)’s famous SBS Golf Channel has recently selected Da Nang and Phu Quoc as destinations for the programme “Golf & Travel in Vietnam”, with the participation of four female golfers from the RoK.

SBS Golf, the first golf television channel in the RoK, broadcast the first episode of the eight-episode programme entitled “Golf & Travel in Vietnam”.

This is considered one of the most notable and interesting golf journeys SBS Golf has ever created, providing viewers with attractive suggestions for a trip that combines the golf experience with travel and relaxation activities.

Notably, the first episode on the official YouTube channel attracted nearly 19,000 views in just 20 hours, and the views are increasing. Many viewers left comments admiring the natural beauty of Phu Quoc. Subsequent episodes will be broadcast every week, from now until the end of April 2024.

SBS Golf has chosen Da Nang and Phu Quoc as the two most prominent and suitable destinations for golf tourism. The two destinations are known for beautiful world-famous beaches and high-class golf courses, as well as a multi-experience ecosystem, from cuisine and entertainment to relaxation.

Following four talented and beautiful young female golfers from the RoK, including Ji Sun Chun, Jin Yi Park, Seo Young Kim and Bo Kyeong Park, the audiences will be thrilled to watch their performances, which show off their talents through skilful shots at two high-class golf courses of Vung Bau in Phu Quoc and Ba Na Hills Golf Club in Da Nang.

In addition, the programme features relaxation experiences that the four female golfers admired when enjoying these two destinations.

The first destination on the golf tour to Phu Quoc is the golf course in the centre of Vung Bau. The golf course has 18 holes with a length of 7,508 yards and 72 standard strokes.

Along with the golf experience, the programme’s guests also take viewers to all-day entertainment activities at Sunset Town in the south of Phu Quoc. Visitors will have the chance to join attractive cultural experiences, such as workshops on making conical hats and herring salad.
