Attending the opening ceremony and participating in exercising their civic rights and duties at this polling station were Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long, along with representatives of local party committees, authorities, and a large number of voters in the area.
This election is organized according to Resolution No. 199/2025/QH15 of the 15th National Assembly on shortening the term of the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels (2021–2026).
This is a particularly significant political event for the country, taking place in the context of the entire Party, army, and people striving to accelerate renewal, rapid and sustainable development, aiming towards a new phase of national development.

In the solemn atmosphere of the opening ceremony, the Election Committee thoroughly disseminated the election regulations, voting principles, and polling station rules to all voters.
The steps for checking and sealing the main ballot box and auxiliary ballot box were carried out openly and transparently in the presence of local leaders and voters, ensuring compliance with legal regulations before officially starting the voting process. According to regulations, voting takes place continuously from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the same day.
After completing the necessary procedures, Politburo Member, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung, along with the voters, received ballots, reviewed the list of candidates, and proceeded to vote according to the correct process. The atmosphere at the polling station was serious, orderly, and enthusiastic, reflecting the responsibility and civic awareness of each voter in participating in building the state apparatus.

Regarding the scale of the election in the locality, based on the population size, Giang Vo Ward will elect a total of 27 People's Council deputies for the 2026–2031 term, divided into 9 electoral units.
The entire ward has arranged 25 polling stations, each accommodating between 2,500 and 4,000 voters, ensuring convenience for citizens to participate in voting. Specifically, at electoral unit No. 4, voters will select and elect 3 People's Council deputies from a list of 5 candidates.
Preparations for the election day in Giang Vo Ward were initiated early and carried out seriously in accordance with legal regulations. From listing voters, the list and brief biographies of candidates, to preparing facilities, decorating polling stations, and ensuring security and order, all were conducted openly and transparently. Functional forces and the Election Committee closely coordinated to create the most favorable conditions for voters to exercise their voting rights.
