During a reception in Ha Noi on November 28, Party chief Trong hailed the visit as marking a new development of bilateral ties. He spoke highly of Poland’s active and practical support to Vietnam as well as Vietnamese nationals living in the host country over the past years.

Welcoming the outcomes of talks between the two Presidents during the visit, the host said he supports the further intensification of ties between the two States and peoples in fields of strength and demand such as mining, environment protection, agriculture and food processing.
President Duda, for his part, affirmed that Poland attaches importance to strengthening friendship and traditional cooperation with Vietnam and vowed to realise signed cooperation agreements in the fields of economy, finance, education-training, agriculture, environment protection and media.
He informed the host about the opening of the representative office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Ho Chi Minh City to further bilateral economic and trade ties.
The guest wished that the Vietnamese people would reap more achievements in the national development.
