NA approves appointment of 3 Deputy Prime Ministers and 2 Ministers

WVR/VNA - On the afternoon of August 26, the National Assembly has passed resolutions approving the Prime Minister's proposal for the appointment of a number of Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.

With the majority of deputies in favor, the National Assembly passed resolutions approving the Prime Minister's proposal for the appointment of a number of Deputy Prime Ministers and Ministers for the 2021-2026 term.

Specifically, with all 432 out of 432 deputies present voting in favor (accounting for 89.81% of the total number of National Assembly deputies), the National Assembly approved the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint the following personnel as Deputy Prime Ministers for the 2021-2026 term:

- Nguyen Hoa Binh, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee;

- Ho Duc Phoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Finance Ministry's Party Committee, Minister of Finance;

- Bui Thanh Son, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Government's Party Committee, Secretary of the Foreign Affairs Ministry's Party Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

With all 426 out of 426 deputies present voting in favor (accounting for 88.57% of the total number of National Assembly deputies), the National Assembly approved the Prime Minister's proposal to appoint the following personnel as Ministers for the 2021-2026 term:

- Do Duc Duy, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Head of the 15th National Assembly delegation of Yen Bai Province, to hold the position of Minister of Natural Resources and Environment;

- Nguyen Hai Ninh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee of Khanh Hoa, to hold the position of Minister of Justice.
