More than 1,300 students and parents attended New South Wales education showcase in Vietnam

The New South Wales Government delivered its education showcase in Vietnam with more than 1,300 students and parents attending expos in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to learn more about study abroad opportunities in Sydney and New South Wales.

The expo in Hanoi took place on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, with over 1,300 students and parents attending, along with representatives from 33 leading educational institutions from Sydney and New South Wales. The education showcase continued to generate strong interest with the expo in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday, September 14, 2024, drawing over 1,300 additional attendees.

Students and parents had the opportunity to learn more about study abroad opportunities at Australia’s most popular education destination, visa procedures, employability programs, and life as an international student in Sydney and NSW.

One-on-one consultations were provided by representatives of the 33 New South Wales education institutions. Participants immersed themselves in the Australian educational environment, explored diverse academic programs, and experienced campus life through interactive booths and engaging presentations.

Speaking at the expos, Andrew Parker, New South Wales Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner, ASEAN emphasized that Sydney and New South Wales are preferred study abroad destinations for Vietnamese students. Along with education and research excellence, Sydney and New South Wales offer endless opportunities and a holistic living environment that Vietnamese students can take advantage of.

With over 1,300 participants and partnerships with more than 10 high schools and universities in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, the New South Wales education showcase Vietnam 2024 has demonstrated the strong appeal of studying in Sydney and New South Wales.

Positive feedback was received from students and parents in attendance. Many participants shared that the event not only provided them with a clearer understanding of study opportunities in Australia but also helped them plan and prepare for their future.

The New South Wales education showcase Vietnam 2024 marks a significant step forward in strengthening educational cooperation between Vietnam and New South Wales.
