Vice Chairman of the VFF Central Committee Truong Thi Ngoc Anh said that through VFF committees in localities and organisations, the VFF Central Committee will directly transfer the donated funds to the affected areas, enabling affected people to address the aftermath of the storm and floods. Beyond the material value, the support carries sentiments and solidarity for those hit by natural disasters, she stated.

The VFF official held that along with the immediate support, it is now time to consider long-term assistance to help the victims re-build their houses, resume production and settle down.
