Lao Embassy in France congratulates the 14th National Party Congress and Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026
WVR - On February 10, a delegation from the Lao Embassy in France, led by Ambassador Kalamoungkhoune Souphanouvong, visited and congratulated the Vietnamese Embassy in France on the successful conclusion of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Lunar New Year Binh Ngo 2026.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, Ambassador Kalamoungkhoune Souphanouvong emphasized the special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos as an invaluable asset of both nations. The choice of Laos as the first destination by General Secretary To Lam after the Congress reaffirms Vietnam's high regard and priority for the bilateral relationship.
The Lao Ambassador highly appreciated the groundbreaking decisions made at the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, expressing confidence that Vietnam will achieve rapid and sustainable development in the near future.

On behalf of the Vietnamese Embassy, Ambassador Trinh Duc Hai sincerely thanked the Lao Party, State, and people for their warm sentiments.
The Ambassador emphasized: “For Vietnam, Laos is not just a neighboring country but a brother in spirit and heart. Throughout the journey of struggle, construction, defense, and development, Vietnam has always had the invaluable support of the Lao Party, State, and people.
This is a rare and special relationship, an invaluable common asset of both nations. Vietnam always considers Laos's success as a shared joy and strongly supports the construction and development of the Lao nation.”

Ambassador Trinh Duc Hai reaffirmed the determination to continuously nurture the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, making it deeper, more practical, and effective.
Both Vietnam and Laos are entering a new spring and facing new opportunities. The two ambassadors believe that with the resounding success of the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and the 12th Congress of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party, the two countries will open a new chapter not only for their development but also for an increasingly close and strong Vietnam-Laos relationship, contributing to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and the world.
