34 localities complete the goal of eradicating makeshift and dilapidated houses
By August 17, the nationwide movement had built and renovated 334,234 houses, finishing 5 years and 4 months ahead of schedule. Recognised as a “special national project” to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, it mobilised 454,318 participants, over 2.7 million working days, and 24.76 trillion VND from State budget, social resources, and local communities.
