International Culinary Culture Festival 2025: A journey of flavors connecting diplomacy and culture
WVR - November 2025 marks the 13th International Culinary Culture Festival, an annual event organized by the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, in cooperation with domestic and international partners.

Over the past 12 seasons, the Festival has become a prestigious cultural diplomacy event, fostering exchange, understanding and friendship between Vietnam and international friends through the universal language of cuisine.

Since early August 2025, the Department has proactively and professionally carried out preparations, ensuring all fundamental steps are completed on schedule. The Organizing Committee is finalizing the program, mobilizing sponsorships, addressing technical matters, and coordinating on security and media work to ensure the event’s success. A press conference introducing the Festival is scheduled for November 11, 2025.
The 2025 festival, themed “Trip of Flavors”, will invite guests to embark on a culinary journey across five continents, right in the heart of Hanoi. “Trip” symbolizes discovery and connection, while “Flavors” highlights diversity and cultural fusion in every dish. Each food stall and culinary experience tells a “wordless story” that deepens mutual understanding and friendship among nations.
The Festival also takes place in the context of the 80 years of Vietnam’s diplomacy sector, making it even more meaningful. By sustaining and enhancing the Festival, the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps continues to promote the image of a hospitable, elegant Vietnam and affirms its role in advancing a “serving diplomacy” that is connective, creative, human-centered and globally engaged.
Featuring the lotus flower, a symbol of purity, simplicity and grace as its central motif, the International Culinary Culture Festival 2025 celebrates the essence of Vietnamese cuisine while reflecting the nation’s pride, vitality, and aspiration to reach further in the new era.
With its proven experience and professionalism, the Service Department for Diplomatic Corps reaffirms its pioneering role in connecting culture, cuisine, and diplomacy contributing to spreading the values of a modern, friendly and distinctive Vietnamese diplomacy to the world.
