According to the Civil Aviation Administration, on the evening of September 26, the Central Airport Authority decided to suspend the operation of 5 airports in this area due to the impact of the storm No. 4, (Typhoon Noru).
Specifically, temporarily suspending the operation and reception of aircraft at Da Nang airport, Phu Bai airport (Thua Thien-Hue), Pleiku airport (Gia Lai), Phu Cat airport (Binh Dinh) and Chu Lai airport. (Quang Nam).
Accordingly, Chu Lai airport will temporarily stop receiving aircraft from 7:00 am on September 27, 2022 to 6:59 am on September 28.
The airports of Da Nang, Phu Bai (Thua Thien Hue), Phu Cat (Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh), and Pleiku (Gia Lai) will temporarily stop receiving aircraft from 12:00 on September 27 to 11:59 on September 28.
Flights to and from these airports under the Typhoon Noru impact will also be suspended.
