Members of the media who are interested in covering the Hanoi Summit should apply for press accreditation online at https://dprk-usasummit2019.mofa.gov.vn
You will receive an email if your application has been successfully submitted. If your application is approved, you will receive a second email confirming your accreditation (and visa approval if required).
Please provide the specific name of the overseas Vietnamese representative office or embassy at which you would like to pick up your visa. For visa on arrival, please specify your port of entry. After receiving the approval email, you will be able to collect your Vietnam visa at the place you specified in your application.
Please be aware that you are NOT allow to enter Vietnam to cover the Hanoi Summit until you receive the approval email.
REGISTRATION
Please make sure ALL fields in the Media Registration Form are completed. Your application will NOT be processed if your profile is incomplete.
Registration deadline: 21 February, 2019 at 1700 (GMT+7).
Please upload a headshot image between 250-500KB, taken with a neutral expression.
Other photos must be less than 2 MB.
Allowed file types: .jpg,.jpeg, .tiff and .pdf.
After choosing your image, please click “upload”.
A list of camera and TV equipment, including serial numer, make and model, must be prepared in advance and included in the Media Registration Form for customs clearance at the airport upon arrival to and departure from Vietnam.
Official permission is required to use satellite and radio equipment. Please download the permission form1 here and form 2 here and contact the Authority of Radio Frequency Management, Ministry of Information and Communications via the below e-mail address.

PRESS BADGE
Press badges for access to the IMC will only be issued to accredited members of the media and must be visibly worn at all times when in the IMC.
The time and venue for press badge collection will be announced at a later date. Please bring a printed copy of your approval email and valid passport to receive the press badge.
*For members of the same media organization, group collection of press badges is possible, and advisable. Please prepare a list of recipients and present their original passports and printed approval emails for collection.
