Son stated that local residents will be able to watch the phenomenon at 19:19 (local time).
He also that quoted the Old Farmer's Almanac as saying that the Beaver Moon draws its name from early Native American tribes, as well as American colonists, when beavers begin sheltering in their lodges after gathering enough food to last the winter.
Fur trappers, the almanac stated, used this time to also hunt beavers for their pelts.
According to Son, there will also be another ahead on Full Moon, which is scheduled to take place on December 27.
