The exhibition aims at conveying the non-traditional, creative and dynamic collisions that make up the Italian research system, combining knowledge with the artistic tradition of Italy as well as the renowned Italian lifestyle and art of well-being.

It tells a multi-layered story including a film that links the objects presented with the different elements of the exhibition’s themes. Directed by Stefano Incerti, the film brings emotional scenes from places where research takes place.

It presents an interactive space combining virtual and physical components to express this message.

“Italy is renowned for its history and tradition, but it has also been an active laboratory of innovation, where fascinating challenges are faced and where it is possible to imagine and plan for a better future,” said Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), Enzo Moavero Milanesi.

“The exhibition is an immersive experience that aims to communicate the dynamic and beautiful nature of the quest for knowledge and research in Italy.”

The exhibition is organised by the MAECI, the Italian National Research Council (CNR) with the contribution of the four main Italian science museums: Idis-Citta Science Foundation (Naples), Galileo Museum (Florence); Museum of Science (Trento), and Leonardo da Vinci - the National Museum of Science and Technology (Milan).

The exhibition was first inaugurated in Rome last year, and then it moved to Egypt, India, Singapore and Indonesia.

The exhibition will run until June 16 at the Ha Noi Museum, Pham Hung street, on the occasion of the 500th anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci.

Later on, the exhibition will move to Guangzhou of China and Buenos Aires of Argentina.
