Now in its third season, Economist Up continues to attract strong interest, with many participating teams from leading universities in Hanoi. This year's theme focused on building export strategies for Vietnamese seafood to the European Union (EU)—a timely and relevant topic aligned with the country’s broader integration agenda and the implementation of free trade agreements such as the EVFTA.
With its revamped format, this year’s competition enabled students to accumulate knowledge, deepen their academic foundation in international economics, business, and trade, while applying them in practical scenarios through real-world project proposals.
At the final round, team UPNEXT claimed both the first prize and the "Audience Favorite" award with their proposal "Exporting Frozen Filleted Barramundi to the Italian Market."
Team EconBlaze secured second place with their proposal "Exporting Whiteleg Shrimp to the Netherlands." Team Sea-Cret won third place with their project "Exporting PTO Whiteleg Shrimp to the German Market."
