Daruma Nihongo is a Japanese language education system that pioneers teaching Japanese to junior and senior high school students as well as building a continuous learning path from grade 6 to University.
What are Daruma Nihongo's dreams?
The founders of Daruma were all international students who participated in pilot programs for Japanese language education from junior high school, continued studying Japanese in senior high school and university, and studied abroad in Japan.
DARUMA NIHONGO: Accompanying for Life - Studying Japanese with Peace of Mind. |
By being exposed to Japanese from a young age, we realized many opportunities for self-development. Therefore, we are grateful for and love Japan from the bottom of our hearts. However, currently, there are tens of thousands of students studying Japanese but they and their parents do not have adequate information. As a result, they only study Japanese as a supplementary subject without investing in it as a learning strategy to gain competitive advantages in exams and future careers.
Therefore, we are eager to share opportunities with the Japanese language with younger friends and build an educational ecosystem to help students study Japanese with peace of mind, study abroad in Japan, and work in Japanese-related jobs. We affirm this aspiration through the slogan: Daruma Nihongo - Accompanying for Life, Studying Japanese with Peace of Mind.
What has Daruma Nihongo achieved?
- In terms of student numbers: Daruma has had thousands of students enrolled. 60% of students studied continuously from grade 6 to grade 12, determined to study abroad and work in Japan.
- Academic performance: The top students in the Japanese language national exam from 2020-2023 were all Daruma students. In the 10th-grade entrance exam in Hanoi, over 70% of Daruma students achieved 9+ points and more than 30% achieved the full 10 points.
- Information dissemination: We organized counselling seminars and communication campaigns to help parents and students have the right perspective about the advantages of having Japanese language skills.
- Ecosystem: Daruma has completed part of the vertical ecosystem (continuous learning path from junior high, senior high to university, employment) and horizontal ecosystem (developing soft skills and career skills alongside Japanese language training).
What are Daruma Nihongo's expectations for the future?
When students grow up and start studying abroad and working in Japan, Daruma expects they will become a high-quality human resource contributing to the Japan-Vietnam economic partnership. Daruma hopes the thorough preparation of Japanese language and social knowledge over a long period before going to Japan will help improve the image of Vietnamese people in Japan and make small contributions to the Japan-Vietnam cooperative relationship.
To achieve this, we are seeking opportunities to connect with educational organizations in Japan to strengthen language and cultural exchanges. It would be great if we could provide more scholarships to support tuition fees for students with Japanese proficiency at N3 level or higher. In addition, Daruma also wants to connect with partners to enrich the ecosystem on the Japanese side.
Daruma's mission: Build an early learning strategy to help Vietnamese students use Japanese as a competitive advantage when transferring grades, winning study abroad scholarships, and achieving high income in their careers. |
Daruma's vision: Become a multi-dimensional, comprehensive Japanese education ecosystem and maintain the leading position in providing excellent quality education, ensuring peace of mind for parents and students, and success for learners. |
