The program, specially tailored for the local Vietnamese community, is set to air as part of a commemorative series celebrating 30 years of friendship and cooperation between Ho Chi Minh City and Busan.
During the interview, Consul General Lan delivered meaningful messages to the Vietnamese community in Busan — the largest expatriate group in the city, with more than 15,000 members.
Appreciating the role of the Vietnamese community in promoting Busan's relations with Vietnamese localities in particular and Vietnam-Korea relations in general through economic contributions, cultural exchanges and people-to-people diplomacy, Consul General Doan Phuong Lan expressed her hope that the Vietnamese community would comply with Korean laws, promote the good qualities of the Vietnamese people and nation, maintain the Vietnamese language and culture; build a community of solidarity, mutual love and enhance the image of Vietnam in the eyes of Korean friends.
