Expressing his delight in welcoming the Bac Ninh Fellow Countrymen Association in the Czech Republic, Chairman Tuan provided a brief overview of Bac Ninh’s remarkable achievements in 2024. The province ranked among the top in Vietnam in key indicators such as total GRDP, industrial production scale, FDI attraction, state budget revenue, and average income per capita. Education and training, healthcare, and social welfare have been prioritized, while political security and social order have been well maintained. The living standards of the people have steadily improved. The province is currently focused on successfully organizing the Party Congress at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and mobilizing resources to achieve its goal of becoming a centrally governed city by 2026.
Chairman Tuan emphasized that overseas Vietnamese, including those in the Czech Republic, are an inseparable part of the Vietnamese nation and of Bac Ninh province. He expressed his hope that the Bac Ninh Fellow Countrymen Association in the Czech Republic would continue strengthen community solidarity, and further develop. He also encouraged them to uphold Bac Ninh - Kinh Bac’s rich cultural and revolutionary traditions, maintain strong ties with their homeland, and serve as a bridge fostering the Vietnam-Czech Republic friendship.

The Provincial Chairman urged the overseas Vietnamese community to focus on preserving the Vietnamese language among younger generations, integrating deeply into their local society while contributing resources to their homeland’s development. He also highlighted the importance of connecting Czech investors with Bac Ninh, particularly in key investment sectors such as high-tech industries, services, and trade. Additionally, he encouraged efforts to introduce and promote Bac Ninh’s cultural heritage—such as Quan họ folk singing and Dong Ho folk paintings—to the international community, helping to build a prosperous and civilized Bac Ninh province.
Expressing his gratitude for the warm reception from Bac Ninh’s leadership, Mr. Thịnh shared his impression at the province’s socio-economic progress. He noted that there are currently over 100,000 Vietnamese living and studying in the Czech Republic, including approximately 1,000 people from Bac Ninh.
Founded in 2014, the Bac Ninh Fellow Countrymen Association in the Czech Republic has upheld its tradition of solidarity, supporting its members in life and work. The Association regularly organizes cultural exchange programs, gatherings, and summer camps to preserve and promote Vietnamese cultural values while actively supporting social welfare initiatives in Bac Ninh.

In June 2024, as part of a European cultural promotion program, a delegation from the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism visited and worked with the Bac Ninh Fellow Countrymen Association in the Czech Republic. They successfully organized a performance of Quan ho folk singing and an exhibition of Dong Ho folk paintings at the 10th-anniversary celebration of the association, leaving a lasting impression on attendees.
The Bac Ninh Fellow Countrymen Association in the Czech Republic hopes to continue receiving support from the province's leadership, departments, and local authorities to further strengthen the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic. They aspire to actively contribute to economic, cultural, and social cooperation, as well as diplomatic and people-to-people relations, thereby helping to build a prosperous and civilized Bac Ninh province.
