During the meeting following the credential presentation ceremony, President Min Aung Hlaing welcomed Ambassador Nguyen Anh Duc to his new post in Myanmar. The President noted that this event, along with the recent presentation of credentials by the Myanmar Ambassador to Vietnam earlier in July, contributes to advancing Vietnam-Myanmar relations in a new phase.
Ambassador Nguyen Anh Duc expressed his gratitude for the warm reception from Myanmar and conveyed his honor at being appointed as the Vietnamese Ambassador to Myanmar as both countries enter a new phase of development.
The Ambassador emphasized that as neighboring countries in Southeast Asia and members of ASEAN, Vietnam always values and seeks to continuously strengthen traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation partnership with Myanmar, for the benefit of the peoples of both nations, and for peace, cooperation, and development in the region.
The Ambassador affirmed his commitment to working diligently and closely with relevant Myanmar authorities during his tenure to enhance bilateral cooperation across all fields, particularly in economic, trade, and investment cooperation.

The Ambassador also requested that Myanmar continue to support and facilitate the Vietnamese community and Vietnamese businesses to live, invest, and conduct stable business operations in Myanmar, contributing to Myanmar's development and the friendship between the two countries.
On this occasion, the Ambassador provided updates on Vietnam's recent developments, particularly the outcomes of the 14th Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, which heralds a new era of development for the country with the strategic goal of becoming a developed, high-income nation by 2045.
The Ambassador affirmed that Vietnam remains steadfast in its foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, resilience, peace, friendship, cooperation, and development; actively integrates internationally, and is a responsible member of the international community, contributing positively to addressing common issues.

President Min Aung Hlaing agreed to promote cooperation through state, parliamentary, political party, and people-to-people channels; and to enhance economic, trade, and investment cooperation, particularly in promising fields such as telecommunications, agriculture, and healthcare...
The President welcomed Vietnamese businesses to explore investment and business opportunities in Myanmar and stated that the Myanmar government is ready to facilitate stable and long-term operations for Vietnamese enterprises.
The President affirmed that Myanmar's relevant agencies will support, facilitate, and closely coordinate to ensure Ambassador Nguyen Anh Duc successfully fulfills his duties in Myanmar.
