A Vietnam Airlines' flight carrying the passengers landed at the Van Don International Airport in the Northern province of Quang Ninh in early this morning.
The move was made in line with Prime Minister's recent instruction asking relevant ministries and agencies to repatriate Vietnamese citizens from China if requested.
Right after the arrival, Vietnamese competent agencies quickly conducted antiseptic measures and medical tests in accordance with requirements on disease prevention.
The 30 citizens are students, their relatives, and Vietnamese tourists, and an eight-month pregnant woman and all of them are in stable health. They will be quarantined at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
Earlier, the aircraft transported medical equipment presented by Vietnam to China, along with 11 Chinese citizens back to Wuhan city.
