Accordingly, on the morning of April 7, the National Assembly will hold a private meeting to hear the Standing Committee of the National Assembly report on the approval of personnel, including: Vice Chair of the Ethnic Council, Deputy Heads of Committees, and members who are full-time National Assembly deputies at the Council and Committees of the National Assembly.
Immediately after, the National Assembly will proceed with the procedures to elect the President. The National Assembly will continue with a plenary session in the Hall to carry out the process of passing the Resolution to elect the President. Subsequently, the President will take the oath and deliver an inaugural speech.
Also in the morning, the National Assembly will hold a private meeting to address several important matters, including: Approving the draft Resolution on the organizational structure of the Government for the 2026-2031 term; approving the list for electing the Prime Minister, Vice President, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, and Head of the Supreme People's Procuracy. Following this, the National Assembly will elect the Prime Minister through a secret ballot.
In the afternoon of the same day, the National Assembly will continue with a private meeting to hear the Ballot Counting Committee report on the results of the Prime Minister election.
Afterward, the National Assembly will hold a plenary session in the Hall to carry out the procedures to pass the draft Resolution electing the Prime Minister. As soon as the Resolution is passed, the Prime Minister will take the oath and deliver an inaugural speech.
Next, the National Assembly will hold a private meeting to elect positions including: Vice President, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, and Head of the Supreme People's Procuracy.
The National Assembly will then hold a plenary session in the Hall to carry out the process of passing the Resolution electing the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court. After being elected, the Chief Justice will take the oath and deliver an inaugural speech.
Additionally, the National Assembly will continue with a private meeting to address matters such as: Passing draft Resolutions electing the Vice President and Head of the Supreme People's Procuracy; and carrying out the procedures to approve the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court's proposal for the appointment of Supreme People's Court Judges.
