Attending the event were over 200 delegates, including leaders of Vietnamese ministries and Ha Noi, members of the Vietnam Friendship Associations with Latin American countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Mexico, Panama and Venezuela, Vietnamese people who used to learn and work in these countries, together with Ambassadors of the countries.

The event aimed to promote cultures of Latin American countries, intensify solidarity and friendship between peoples of Vietnam and the regional nations, and boost people-to-people diplomacy of Ha Noi capital city.

Vice President of the Ha Noi Union of Friendship Organisations Tran Thi Phuong stressed that over the past years, Vietnam has received valuable support and sentiments from the Governments and peoples of Latin American nations.

The music gala is to show Vietnam’s gratitude toward friends form Latin America, she added.

At the event, participants were offered a chance to enjoy songs and dances with Latin American style.
