On November 29, the "The World and Vietnam Report", the official press agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, celebrates the 35th anniversary of its first publication. Since then, the newspaper has taken a leading position among the national media in covering international issues and has gained high and well-deserved authority among a wide readership, including representatives of the diplomatic corps, as well as the staff of the Russian Embassy in Hanoi.
We are sincerely grateful for the constant close attention of the Editorial Board to the topic of Russian-Vietnamese relations and for the objective and balanced approach to covering key events in and around our country. Over the years of close cooperation with the Russian diplomatic mission, the newspaper has made a significant contribution to promoting information about Russia and Russian-Vietnamese multifaceted ties.
On the pages of the "The World and Vietnam Report" were published materials on key cooperation areas between our countries in political, trade and economic, scientific, technological and humanitarian spheres, close coordination of actions in promoting common approaches to current issues of global and regional agenda, interviews and articles of the Russian Ambassador to Vietnam on various aspects of bilateral relations.
We are grateful for the detailed coverage of events during the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Hanoi this June, the placement of articles on anniversaries and memorable dates in the history of our countries and peoples. We hope that the upcoming 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Russia and Vietnam (January 2025) and the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (May 2025) will find worthy reflection on the pages of the newspaper.
