Welcoming 2 super yachts, nearly 2,500 international tourists arrive on New Year's Day, affirming Quang Ninh's tourism appeal
WVR - On the morning of February 17 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), 2,400 international tourists aboard two luxury yachts were the first visitors to "set foot" in Ha Long Bay.

Early on the first morning of the Lunar New Year, Mr. Bui Van Khang, Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders from the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and Ha Long International Passenger Port, were present to welcome the international guests "setting foot" on the first day of the new year.
The two yachts, Seabourn Encore (571 tourists) and Piano Land (1,793 tourists), mainly from Hong Kong (China), Europe, and the USA, arrived at Ha Long International Passenger Port in a joyful Lunar New Year atmosphere.
Here, the tourists were delighted to receive lucky money for the New Year from the Chairman of the Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee. Many were thrilled to experience the Lunar New Year atmosphere in Vietnam for the first time.
“I am truly surprised by the warm welcome from everyone, and I am impressed by Vietnam's traditional Tet rituals. For me, this is a wonderful start to exploring the heritage bay,” shared Mr. Paul and his wife, Mrs. July (American tourists).

Following the welcome ceremony, tourists will embark on a tour of Ha Long Bay, exploring local culture, cuisine, and lifestyle. Immigration, security, and tour coordination were efficiently and swiftly managed to ensure safety and convenience.
Subsequently, on February 19 (the third day of Tet), February 20 (the fourth day of Tet), and February 24 (the eighth day of Tet), the port will continue to welcome the French-flagged Le Jacques Cartier, the Bahamas-flagged Adora Mediterranea, and Silver Nova.
The event of Ha Long International Passenger Port continuously welcoming five super yachts during the Lunar New Year period demonstrates that Quang Ninh is becoming a favored destination on the itinerary of many international cruise lines.
