He was followed by Hong Kong’s Wong Wai Chun (6:54.08) and host Prasetyo Luckiyus (7:02.13).

Ta Thanh Huyen and Nguyen Thị Giang triumphed in the women’s 2,000m double sculls lightweight category

The duo took the top position with a time of 6:55.44.

Filipinos Snyder Khrizzia Ariane Joy and Delgaco Joanie were second (7:02.46) and Thailand 2’s Pitakpaothai Tippaporn and Pitakpaothai Thilada stood third (7:06.96).

Later, Dinh Thi Hao and Nguyen Lam Kieu Diem bagged their gold in the women’s 2,000m double sculls lightweight. Pham Thi Hue won the women’s 2,000m single sculls, while Tran Thi An and Le Thi Hien topped the women’s 2,000m coxless pairs.

The team also pocketed one silver and two bronze medals from the tournament’s nine categories.
