The foreign policy guidelines of the 13th Party Congress have been concretized, implemented synchronously and methodically. The Resolution No.34-NQ/TW was issued by the Politburo on January 9, 2023 on a number of major orientations and guidelines to implement the foreign policy of the 13th National Party Congress. The Politburo also promulgated the Conclusion No.12-KL/TW dated August 12, 2021 on the overseas Vietnamese affairs in the new situation. Continuously expanding and deepening relations with partners, focusing on neighboring countries, important partners and traditional friends. Since the National Congress, high-level external relations activities on all channels and in various forms have been carried out with nearly 170 activities. In which, there are more than 30 visits by key leaders, more than 80 phone calls and online talks, and nearly 30 international teleconferences. At the same time, leaders of the Party, State and National Assembly received more than 30 high-ranking delegations from many countries, territories and international organizations.
