To mark the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (27 July 1947 - 27 July 2025), the delegation of young overseas Vietnamese participating in Vietnam Summer Camp 2025, led by Ms Ngo Thi Thanh Mai, Vice Chairwoman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs, visited and offered incense at the resting place of General Vo Nguyen Giap.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegation laid a wreath and offered incense to commemorate and express profound gratitude for the immense contributions of General Vo Nguyen Giap, an outstanding and close disciple of President Ho Chi Minh, a steadfast revolutionary soldier, a brilliant military strategist and one of the most renowned generals in world history.

At the General’s grave site, 110 young delegates from 31 countries and territories paid their respects, offering flowers and incense in deep gratitude and pride.

This visit was a meaningful opportunity for the young overseas Vietnamese to better understand the nation's glorious history and to learn from the noble qualities of General Giap. It was also an educational experience, instilling patriotism, national pride and the spirit of unity among young Vietnamese living far from their homeland.
