Vietnam, New Zealand Foreign Ministers stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake

WVR - On the afternoon of June 5th, Foreign Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn and New Zealand's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Winston Peters strolled around Hoan Kiem Lake, visited Ngoc Son Temple and The Huc Bridge, enjoyed brown coffee and Pavlova cake, a signature dish of New Zealand, at Thuy Ta Café.

After co-chairing the second Vietnam-New Zealand Foreign Ministers' Meeting at the Government Guesthouse, Foreign Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn and Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister of New Zealand Winston Peters took a stroll around Hoan Kiem Lake.

Afterward, they enjoyed coffee at Thuy Ta Café while discussing the relations and potential cooperation between the two countries. They also savored Pavlova, a meringue dessert topped with cream and fruit, a signature dish of New Zealand. Notably, the Pavlova was decorated with green kiwi, passion fruit, dragon fruit, and avocado. Among these, passion fruit, dragon fruit, and avocado are three fruits that New Zealand has been supporting Vietnam's agriculture in developing over the past years, aiming to create new high-quality varieties for export

Before returning to their hotel, Foreign Minister Bùi Thanh Sơn and Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters took a group photos and thanked the staff at Thuy Ta Café.
