Viet Nam gives maximum support to foreign businesses: Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang

The Foreign Ministry held a press briefing on October 21 in the virtual format, in which spokeswoman Le Thi Thu Hang stressed that the Vietnamese government always seeks ways to support foreign investors, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The government always listens to, shares with and creates favorable conditions for foreign businesses and investors as much as possible, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, the spokeswoman said.

According to Hang, the Vietnamese government is trying to seek and apply suitable ways to restore production and business activities as soon as possible, ensuring the smooth circulation of goods across the country. Localities are asked to not issue inappropriate regulations.

Regarding the collision between the US Navy USS Connecticut nuclear submarine with an "unidentified object" in international waters of the East Sea, Hang affirmed that Vietnam is consistent with the viewpoint and wishes that East Sea is the area of peace, cooperation and development on the basis of international laws.
