On the morning of May 9, Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh received Ms. Yang Yan Yan, President of the Guangxi Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Secretary-General of the China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (CABIS) Secretariat.
At the meeting, Ms. Yang Yan Yan expressed her sincere appreciation for the close cooperation and effective support extended by the Vietnamese Embassy in China to CCPIT Guangxi over the years. She noted that numerous leading Chinese enterprises operating in sectors such as the green economy, digital transformation, infrastructure development, and artificial intelligence are interested in expanding cooperation with Vietnamese partners.
Ms. Yang Yan Yan also shared several proposals regarding the organization of the 22nd China-ASEAN Expo on Trade and Investment, scheduled to take place in September 2025 in Nanning, Guangxi.
Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh highly valued the contributions of CCPIT Guangxi in promoting practical cooperation between Vietnam and China. The Ambassador affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in China stands ready to continue serving as a bridge, supporting efforts to connect Vietnamese ministries, local authorities, and enterprises with Chinese leading companies.
The Embassy will also notify relevant Vietnamese agencies and closely coordinate with the CABIS Secretariat to facilitate Vietnam’s participation in the upcoming summit.
