Promoting the beauty of Vietnamese culture and fashion to Australians

With the aim of introducing the Vietnamese fashion and textile industry to the Australian market, recently, the Consulate General of Vietnam to Perth coordinated with the Belmont Business Enterprise Center Inc.) and the Textile Clothing and Footwear Resource Centre of Western Australia (TCF WA) hosted the fashion show as part of the city's 30th Excellent Small Business Awards Ceremony.

At the ceremony, there was the presence of more than 200 small businesses based in the city of Belmont, Western Australia. Two Vietnamese-origin ones in gastronomy and fashion were honored.

At this event, Vietnamese designer Nguyen Phuong Hoa presented unique evening gown models in the latest collection of the Eleven S brand. The highly practical outfits attracted a lot of attention.

Belmont Business Enterprise Center Inc. (Belmont BEC) is an association of small- and medium-sized enterprises in Belmont, Western Australia, established in 1994 to support startups, growth and development.

During 30 years of operation, Belmont BEC has established a global network of global trade organizations, industry associations, and businesses, thereby creating opportunities for member businesses to access international trade opportunities and join the global supply chain.

Established in 1998, TCF Center is a non-profit association that provides support to local businesses in the fields of fashion, textiles, and footwear through skills training courses and consulting, supporting and connecting global trade opportunities.

During its 25 years of operation, TCF Australia has organized many sales and promotions for local fashion designers at international trade exhibitions in Hong Kong (China), China, India and the Republic of Korea.

This fashion show is part of a series of activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations (1973-2023) hosted by the Consulate General of Vietnam to Perth, contributing to introducing the beauty of Vietnamese culture and fashion to Australians, thereby encouraging local people to explore culture and tourism in the S-shaped land. At the same time, it creates opportunities for Vietnamese textile and garment enterprises to explore the potential Australian fashion market; encourage and promote business and trade in the fashion industry between the two countries.

Designer Tran Phuong Hoa was born in 1992, from Ha Tinh province. She has been working in the wedding and evening gown fashion industry for over 10 years with her own brand Eleven S.
