At the invitation of Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Le Minh Hung, Prime Minister of the Lao People's Democratic Republic Sonexay Siphandone will pay official visit to Vietnam and attend the third AFF from June 7-9, 2026.
At the invitation of Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Le Minh Hung, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet will pay official visit to Vietnam and attend the third AFF from June 8-9, 2026.
The third AFF will take place from June 9-10 in Hanoi with the theme “Shaping Our Common Future: Peace, Prosperity, and People-Centered Development.”
According to Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Pham Thu Hang, the Forum will feature a variety of activities, including plenary sessions on topics such as resilience, conflict prevention, artificial intelligence, energy security, and development models. Additionally, there will be side events including a Dialogue among Southeast Asian Political Parties, the ASEAN Cities Leaders Meeting, a Mekong Sub-region Roundtable, a Southeast Asian Youth Roundtable, and a Discussion on AI Governance.
