Addressing the event, Nguyen Quang Duong, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee (PCC)’s Commission for Organisation (the standing body of the Sub-committee), presented a report on some key contents in the draft Report of the 13th Party Central Committee summarising the work of Party building and implementation of the Party Charter at the 14th National Party Congress.
The Sub-committee’s members highly valued the PCC’s Commission for Organisation, the working and editorial teams for proactively and effectively implementing the preparation, development, and finalisation work of the draft Report. They highlighted thothrough preparations, with closely following the outline and comments of the Sub-committee’s members and Party committees, Party organisations, agencies, and units.
The Sub-committee’s members also contributed opinions and added some important contents, which are meaningful in both theory and practice to deepen assessments, guiding viewpoints, tasks, and solutions in the draft Report, contributing to making the best preparation for the 14th National Party Congress.
Hung, who is also a Politburo member, Secretary of the PCC and head of the PCC’s Commission for Organisation, commended the Sub-committee members’ enthusiastic and responsible opinions, saying that at the PCC’s upcoming 10th meeting, the sub-committees will submit draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress to the PCC for discussion and initial approval, including the draft Report of the Party Charter Sub-committee, so that these drafts will then be discussed at Party congresses at all levels in 2025.
He suggested the Sub-committee's members continue to spend time, attention, and keep close contact with the Sub-committee's standing body. This will promote a sense of responsibility as well as experience from previous terms to contribute to the development and completion of the draft Report.
The Sub-committee's standing body, working and editorial teams need to remain highly focused, work actively, and continue to gather and incorporate feedback from organisations and individuals to finalise the draft Report, ensuring both quality and the set timeline.
