WVR - On the morning of June 23, Party Central Committee Member, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong visited the Embassy of Thailand in Hanoi to pay tribute and sign the condolence book in memory of Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati of the Kingdom of Thailand.

During the memorial service, Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong observed a moment of silence in memory of Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati, the eldest daughter of King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand. The Princess passed away at the age of 47 after a prolonged period of treatment for serious health issues.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong extended his deepest condolences to the Thai Ambassador to Vietnam, Urawadee Sriphiromya, and all the staff of the Embassy. In the condolence book at the Thai Embassy, Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong emotionally wrote: "Deeply mourn the passing of Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati.

The Princess was a revered member of the Thai Royal Family, who made significant contributions to the country's development. Her contributions will always be cherished and remembered by the Thai people and international friends.

On behalf of the State, Government, and people of Vietnam, I extend the deepest condolences to the Royal Family and the people of Thailand".

Deputy Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong's visit and signing of the condolence book demonstrate Vietnam's friendship and deep sympathy towards the Royal Family, Government, and people of Thailand during this time of loss.

This activity also contributes to further strengthening the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and Thailand, two countries with a traditional friendship and increasingly extensive cooperation across various fields.
